Advancements for EB curing systems
A booming technology that provides enhanced properties for coatings, inks and adhesives industries.
EB curing technology
From the automotive industry to the wood coating passing through the ink, the radiation curing technology is usable everywhere. The most used is Ultra-violet (UV) nevertheless Electron Beam (EB) is booming. The lowering capital cost and enhanced safety features with EB equipment explain this renewed interest. Electron Beam (EB) curing is a radiation process using the energy from accelerated electrons.

EB curing applications
Sartomer can provide ready-to-use testing formulations to quickly perform trials in most applications:

Formulating for EB curing
It is commonly assumed that successful EB curing formulations can be based on UV curing formulations without photoinitiators or amine synergists. However, the curing mechanisms are very different and the properties of the coaintgs will reflect which radiations process is used. Sartomer has performed an extensive screening of oligomers and monomers in order to identify the best candidates for each end-use applications
